Apple will release iOS 8 software today should be available here in
Spain from about 8pm this evening.   Cool Cool Cool


HOW TO UPGRADE TO IOS 8

Users can upgrade by opening Settings, General, and selecting Software Update.

If the page states that the software is up-to-date, it means iOS 8 is not currently available for that device.

Once iOS 8 is available, users should select Update.

It is advised that phones are connected to a Wi-Fi network and plugged into the mains.

Users are also advised to backup their phone to iCloud, or an external drive, to make sure no photos or contacts are lost.

I updated my iPad with IOS8, some things are different, but mostly working okay.  The problem I have is that I cannot get into my radio, which by the way was working perfectly up until yesterday , when it said that the radio had gone to Apps.  I went all through downloading the App, but still unable to receive the radio.  I am on VPN, thats working fine.  The  only way I can get into my radio is by the internet.  Any suggestions would be very welcome.

On your ipad apps page just keep your finger pressed on your old radio app until all the apps wobble,Then press the x on the radio app and this will remove it as it may have been corrupted or is Incompatible after the software update then press the home button to stop the apps wobbling.

Re software update you should be using IOs8 (2)http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1758

Then go to the Apple App Store App on you ipad.

At the App store download the FREE app.  https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/air-radio-lite/id650795675?mt=8

It's a simple radio app that works great. You just press the desired station and it plays in an instant no tuning required. All the UK stations BBC Radio 4, 4extra, Classic FM, Talk sport etc
If you do not like that or would like more apps just place "Ipad Radio" in the search box top right on the App store page and you have a large choice both free and paid apps. Remember you can have as many radio apps as you like on your ipad.  Smiley Smiley you may have to use your VPN.
