Poisonous Plants - Oleander, Azalea, Rhodedendron

Before hacking back the Oleander hedge today, I Googled the best way. To my surprise there were lots of warnings about how poisonous they are and that the cuttings should not be burned as the smoke is toxic.
Anyone know how to dispose of the cuttings as nowt seems to rot down here and the dump won't take plant matter?

Most plants in Spain are poisonous. The list is endless.
We normally burn all of our garden rubbish!
Trees also, can cause a problem.
The sap from fig trees can cause skin irritation.
Then of course there are the processionary caterpillars that nest in fir trees, and are also dangerous to humans and pets. Be careful, if you have any around.

Just spent the last few days demolishing two mature palm trees c/o the dreaded red beetle and their offspring.  Burning is the only realistic option.  Just don't breathe in the smoke.
