Please see the post, from March re Castellon airport.
People who are not able to use Stansted to come into Reus at present, are using Barcelona or Valencia airports.

Whilst mentioning Valencia airport I wonder if anyone has flown into it in the recent past?  If so, would you mind providing some brief details as my elderly father has difficulty walking distances and complains about walking to the Easyjet terminals through to security and so on in Barcelona.  He  would prefer it if Valencia was more compact which I assume it is. I have said that he should use ´assisted travel´ before now!

Mrs Ebrorob. we used to use Valencia Airport when our elderly friend used to come over.  We can certainly recommend it as it is so much more compact with parking within easy walking distance from the terminal.

Valencia is much more compact.  From the terminal it's only about 100m to the multi storey car park.  The terminal itself is much smaller.  Assisted travel doesn't cost any extra.  Our son uses it all the time.

Flying from Bristol is extremely limited. So far always having to use Barca airport as far as we know. If anyone knows of anywhere closer to L'Aldea using any airline going to Bristol Id be very interested. Thanks

Ryanair will be flying to Castellon from Bristol in September.  Wednesdays and Sundays Smiley

At least you can get a bus straight from El Prat to Tortosa now

Thank you Pondgirl for that info.  I wonder how easy it will be.
I just flew back to UK on monday, as bus doesn't work for morning flight to Bristol had to get night flight, left at 10.20pm.  I had to leave L'Aldea at 6.30 and got home at 1.30 am UK time.  Exhausted doesn't even cover it as Im disabled and suffer a lot of pain so for a 1 hour 50 flight, it makes a very very long journey.  Still Im impressed at the bus service, very slick.  Just difficult if you can't walk much getting from T1 to T2c.
Come on Ryanair...pull your socks up....back to Reus from Bristol pretty please!!  Smiley
