Just been checking out flight from Leeds Bradford to BCN and up £100+ compared to last October, and my last trip over in march Angry looking like Ryanair are the cheapest to Murcia £140 return inc a skinny 15 kg.
Ive never flown to Mucia but this looks like its going to be my plan for October.
Come on Jet 2 !!!!!!! if your reading this Wink

Murcia is a long way from Tortosa area.
Several hours to add on to the journey.
With fuel costs and any tolls used, more costly aswell.

Yes Phil,Rita is right. That would be a touch of "Murcia Madness" if you flew there to drive up to the Ebro area.Unless of course you have got your sights on BENIDORM this October?

Well I tackled my mate who works for Jet2 yesterday at a wedding party, about price hikes ,and he,s told me that they have basically made there profits for the year already, so thats why the prices are high they dont need to drop ,I am still £80 higher for October than this Feb,without the extra for hold bags. I also checked out the bargin flights for Ryanair ????? were are they LOL Shocked he also told me that Monarch are in deep trouble, and want to pull out of Leeds/Bradford,but are tied in for the next couple of years, and Jet 2 are waiting in the wings for there stands.
Also Jet2 have no intentions of flying to Castilon Booooooooo Embarrassed

It seems odd for a company to stop trying when they feel they have made enough money.  This smells of cartel.

All those sun-seeking tourists who would have been going to Greece or Egypt and now Tunisia will add to the demand on the limited supply of flights to Spain so up goes the price.  I wonder if any of the airlines will realise a bit of extra capacity wouldn't go amiss?
