My sister and friends are coming to castellon with Ryanair from stansted in September.
They booked months ago.
Unable to find any car hire online at castellon airport, so I'm the chauffeur for a week.
Ryanair have just released the winter flights for castellon / stansted.
They are also doing limited flights to Bristol
  
Nostalgia is not what it used to be...

Hi we booked our September flights a while back now and have been watching the web sites progress. It has car hire companies named but not sure how you would get on trying to book.http://www.castellon-airport.net/

As far as I can see all the car hire companies are in castellon town, not at the airport. So I would guess that you would need a taxi to the town centre. I will post more after 22nd sept

Alot  of car hire companies I use at El Prat are off site and provide free shuttle service, I would be surprised if they dont do the same there.

Come on... They're Spanish.  They won't get round to sorting car hire availability until the first plane is on final approach at the earliest.   Smiley

The Airport is not near Castellon. Its right behind Alcossebre 10 minutes in land from the AP7 Junction 44. If you had to taxi to the nearest car hire it would be Alcossebre about 10 mins away. The nearest Europcar is Benicarlo about 20 minutes away in the car park in front of the Bowling and Cinema near Peniscola.

Taxi & train might be an option for some....looks like nearest station to the airport is at Torreblanca.
