Housing benefit and pension credit payments stopped for people who leave the country for more than a month
Basic state pension to rise by £3.35 next year to £119.30 a week
Councils to be given power to raise council tax by 2% to plug care spending gap
This could lead to £6.3bn of council tax rises across the country
New 3% surcharge on stamp duty for buy-to-let properties and second homes from April 2016, raising almost £1 billion

Dear Mr. Bunter,
Bring back the Poll Tax!!!  The more the Polish people pay the less they have to take from us.  They can afford it doing all that handy-work in London.  And crop picking.  And whilst we're about it sort out a Czech tax.  Paying by cheque should have some sort of levy on it in this day and age especially if you're rich.  And don't even get me started on the Alsace Tax or lack thereof.  If all the people who had bought Alsation puppies paid a duty we could bring the retirement age down to 50 but we would need to prevent avoidance by calling them 'German Shepherds'.  You see... I have thought this through!
