Twenty six people have, so far been arrested, in the province of Huelva.
They have used knives to cut/slice the ears and tails from hundreds of dogs.
They claim that it is a tradition and it prevents the dogs from getting caught up in thorns on brambles.
Six vets have also been arrested for issuing false certificates, to try and cover up the terrible procedures.
