Had a lovely traditional roast lunch today at the Pitch and Putt near L'Ampolla. Rob had the lamb with mint sauce, while I had lamb, beef, chicken and pork! It came with yorkshire pudding, roast and mashed potatoes and a serving dish containing six different vegetables. We had apple pie with icecream or custard for pudding. The main course (they also to a vegetarian option) was 10 euros ( I think you pay an extra euro or two if you have all the roast meats) and pudding was four euros. Afterwards we sat contentedly listening to the music in a mood of nostalgia expecting the 'Navy Lark' to come on the radio at any moment!
They only do the traditional roast dinner on the last Sunday of the month and you need to make a reservation.
