Clean Clean Clean.....All your shelves look for larva in the corners and throw out any opened packets.

Buy the sticky cards from mucky donnas look near the fly spray section.pin one of the sticky cards on the inside of your pantry door. Sprinkle cloves on each of your shelves and keep flour etc in airtight containers. 😷😷😷

It is perfectly possible that you imported these creatures in factory sealed packaging but there are usually some in every property.  Once in your home rice, pasta, cereals etc. are all fair game as far as they are concerned.  The sticky pheromone cards/boxes do the trick.  Put them in other rooms as well as the kitchen and you will be surprised how quickly you have a catch.

After finding weevils in flour from mucky donnas, I threw it all out, cleaned everywhere very thoroughly, and went to buy some more flour.
As I picked up a bag in mucky donnas I saw that there were weevils in between the bags.
I now buy Eco flour from Carrefour which have properly sealed bags and no more weevils. More expensive, but no weevils.

Dear Bob y Betty,

Trust me, this method does work every time.

All bags of flour will contain weevils at some point because of the eggs that are left behind after flour production.

Now:

Either sieve the flour in order to eliminate the' lesser of two weevils' OR more effectively place the unopened bag/s of flour into the freezer as soon as you buy them for at least four days which will kill off the eggs.

Hey presto no longer a problem.
