WiFi TV connection...

I am thinking of renting my place out for holiday makers, I have fast wifi, mains power, but no smart TV. What is the simplest/best system so clients can watch U.K. TV? I don't want phone calls every few minutes from technomuppets saying they can't get TV. !!

Don't even mind if I need to pay for it...

many thanks in advance,

Tom

What is your internet, WiMax or Satellite?

If it's WiMax then you could have an IPTV system.
The system I provide is a box that is like a digibox, dead simple to use.
No programming involved, has its own remote control, turn it on, it Works.
It has 30 day cátchup on most channels, film club with over 3000 films and series.
Basic package has around 60 channels (all BBC, ITV, C5, C5, Film 4, More 4, 5* etc....)
Full package has around 250 cannels, all above + loads of Sport, Discovery, National Geographic, loads of film channels, Scandanavian channels, Russian channels - a huge list.

It is a subscription service.
If it is for holidays it can be active just for the time it is rented, 25 euros per month for the full package.

The yearly Price is 260 euros.

Thanks Nigel, that will probably be the most sensible option, I have a land line connection, so, very helpful advice...

My rental, however, is in Mallorca, so a bit of a stretch for your van!

cheers

No problem, take a box with you and plug it in - simple as an internet cable, hdmi cable to the tv and power. No setup required Works straight away. If your internet connection isn't by the tv then you can connect it via wifi, just need to connect to your wifi and enter the password.
