Hola,
Can anyone recommend a good quality pump and where to buy it, to draw from the cisterna up to a header tank - about 3mtrs up from cisterna to pump and then maybe 6 mtrs more to the header.
Thanks,
Briand Smiley

Most of the staff speak a bit of English and are knowledgeable

Herraiz is not the cheapest, you can trail around or head up to Tarragona to Brico Depot(which I think of as Spanish Wickes) or Bauhaus(Spanish B&Q) and for best economy combine with an airport run.
However, the idea that you use local businesses for knowledge and friendly helpful assistance is alive and well in Herraiz. They have a large staff so even a long wait isn't that long and you can browse the shelves or
even wander and gather the bits you recognize yourself. They'll even direct you to a cheaper option. They're genuinely friendly. If you can, I'd recommend opening an account( una ficha) which gets you a discount on some merchandise. When I signed up with them I thought I was scamming them for a
Discount as I would only be a sometime customer, several thousand pounds and a decade later I feel glad I got it.
If you can find the roundabout between the knotted pipes roundabout and the Corona hotel roundabout you're within a hundred or so metres of it. Do a couple of circuits til you spot it and to build up speed to slingshot out through the traffic.
I have no affiliation, beyond being a happy customer, with Herraiz.

I concur with everything Bruixot says above.
Brand isn't a big issue for your job but a good alternative is Regs Fornos in Amposta for price and quality.

Carles doesn't speak English but if you take a sketch with distances and ask for Bomba de Agua I'm sure he'll sort you out.

Did Jonathan move to a new post elsewhere or within Herriaz? I hope he hasn't moved! He was a pleasure to deal with!
