If you love crumpets but can't get any then the next best thing is now available.

During Ramadan the Muslims traditionally eat something they call Jiringos (sp) and they are available now in the Moroccan shops.

They are like dinner plate sized flat crumpets. Not quite the same but near enough.

Don't buy them all as I want some  Wink

We get crumpets (pikelets) from the english shop in Alcossebre.
They are in the freezer so take a cool box and bring back 3 months supply.
Best to ring first if you are travelling a distance

Hi you can get them in the English " corner shop " in the reception of Camping Alegria Benicarlo too. All favourite bits available. Marmite, Sausage rolls, Pukka Pies, Gingernuts, HP Sauce, Mint sauce etc. Plus you can have a full english or Sunday roast in the Bar/Rst. Live Music nights in the Summer. English owners.
