Hi
We are thinking of bringing some white goods - fridge, washing machine - from the UK, will the lower voltage seriously affected the running of them?

Thanks

Paula

Voltage here is 220V nominal, normally it is around 230 - 240 in reality. Domestic goods are usually rated for 220-240V so you shouldn't have any problema at all.
Question you have to ask yourself is 'Is it worth it' in terms of transport costs etc.

Agreed Nigel.  Cost of white goods here comparable and more or less the same brand range available.
