Farewell to Walter Becker, aged 67, co founder and co writer with Donald Fagen of Steely Dan (so named after a sex toy in the William Burroughs novel Naked Lunch). Thanks for all those great jazzed up rock tunes from the 70s and 80s, my hippie days were spent listening to hours of Countdown to Ectasy, Can't buy a Thrill and the Royal Scam. If only we could "Do it again".
