Braseria La Piscina

Hi all, Just thought I would let folks know about the wonderful pre-Christmas Turkey dinner that friends & I had at the Braseria La Piscina Bar last wednesday. The Owners Xavi & Lorreta prepared & cooked  2 large turkeys in their Oven & they were both stuffed with their own homemade stuffing.The birds were succulent & very tasty indeed.Plenty of fresh brussels,peas & carrots,plus Baked jacket spuds came with the main dish,plus plenty of rich Gravey & in the end was as much as anyone could eat.It was followed by Homemade Christmas pudding & Custard.We had a few olives,crisps & mussels to start, a Bottle of wine between couples or an individual drink.Lastly a Café con leche. We paid Euros 37 each,but it was very good value for the meal we had. Details on the place can be found by following the link below into the Facebook page.

They are located just off of the small roundabout at the top of the high street, Raval de Cristo.

To those who were wondering it was the turkeys that were stuffed and not Xavi and Loretta.

Following on I would like to say a big big thank-you to Rob and his wife, Marg for arranging the whole thing with the owners.

It was a very enjoyable meal which couldn't be faulted and we are always made to feel welcome by the owners whether it be for a meal or a Sunday afternoon meet-up.  And, of course, in the summer heat the pool is always a welcome extra.
