SKY free to air channels have gone?

We haven't been over to Mora D'Ebre for a few months but have found that our old Sky box that used to pick up various free to air channels and Sky News etc no longer picks up any sky signal! Has Sky now been turned off in Spain (another Brexit casualty?), or is it more likely that our box or dish has developed a fault?? Thoughts welcome. Cheers, Ray.

Although the bulk of channels dropped out a few years ago you should still be able to get some (in English) including Sky News (Ch 501).  A pre-amp may be useful as well as a large and accurately aligned dish.  If you were happy a few months ago it rather sounds like the box as nothing has changed recently.
