Does anyone know if there is a football team in Tortosa? My daughter and her boyfreind are hoping to move to Spain with us and her boyfriend is very interested in football. Also are there many English speaking young people living there? My daughter is 18 and her boyfriend is 27.

Yes Tortosa has a team, which plays in the Catalunya League -on an artificial pitch in the main sports area of the town. Tarragona has a very good team which plays in the national division two and you have Espanyol, Barcelona and Villareal amongst the top teams - all within two hours travelling time. I hope to move to Tortosa in about 18 months and will be keeping up my interest in football - and may do some organised trips to 'big' games.
