We went for brunch at the Restaurant Campero which was both very good value and very good quality.

It's run by Angela Mur and is on the left hand side of the road just before you get to Alfara de Carles.

They have loads of bulls there and a bullring - I've been told that they have mock bullfights there from time to time.

Angela told me that during February and March they have special functions where they have sausage cooked on the brasserie that you dip into a special sauce made from almonds, wine and so on . you then hold them at one end and eat them from the other end - they do provide plastic aprons!

I'm sure we'll go back to experience this.

Well worth a visit but they are only open at weekends in the winter and you MUST phone to book (to make sure they are open!!)
