First of all i'd like to say a big congratulations to all the new "catfishing guides" that are setting up business here in Catalunya. Good luck to all as its probably one of the hardest things to make any kind of money out of.

I was talking to someone a while ago and they were bragging about making 10,000 euros in a year ..... sounded like a good sum of money ..... but then when you work it out into pounds, about 6 grand ..... thats way below the poverty rate in the UK, nearly half infact ! Take out of that wear and tear on your boat, new tackle (i buy tackle every month to keep up with the Cats), servies on trailers and engines .... bloody hell it turns out your making pennies !

To be quite honest unless your fully booked for 7 months of the year ( thats 210 days approx ) then i cant really see how anyone can be proud of what they've earned !
