Buildings insurance

Hello to you all. I've had a look around the forum but can't find anything about this.  We have recently bought a property in the campo in the Tortosa area which we are not currently living in but will visit for holidays for the time being.
How do we go about getting buildings insurance and roughly what does it cost amd what is covered?
Thanks,
Haze and Alan

I recently bought house and contents insurance from "La Caixa" bank.
It is a town house, but you can also ask about insuring a finca.

There is also a company called Mapfre, they are in most towns, and of course you can ask "Linea Directa", i insure my car with them and they are excellent.

We are due to do our building insurance and I am looking for a company in England where I can insure our holiday home.  We do not speak Spanish so if we needed to make a claim we need to be able to do so in English (its bad enough to fill in forms in English let alone Spanish!!) also if you do not have an address how do you insure your casa de campo?

Does anyone have recomendations?
