Owing to the fact that this year I have been peppered with shot only  3 times as opposed to 4 times last year, clearly the credit crunch is having a serious effect on the hunting fraternity.Good news for the birds though.....

Hey Notrob

You must have far too much wildlife on your land!!

Have you got any cats?

Our place is void of birds for at least 200 yds thanks to the p u s s y patrol

Mind you they didn't frighten off a wild boar that ran by us last week, only 10 ft away from us good job he was on a mission and ignored us !!

Still never mind isn't the Hunting season over soon?

You can then put away your flack jacket and hi vis vest!!

Am I right in hearing that a rambler was shot and killed near Miravet when a hunter mistook his for a wild boar? That is very convenient if you are looking to bump someone off. 'Sorry, he was dressed in a hairy brown suit with tusks and was grunting loudly, so I thought he was a boar and shot him!' Sorry Gov.

Sometimes the season gets extended due to bad weather, special permission to protect crops, or they could be just caza furtivo, good old fashioned poaching...

Well, it was a bad winter so maybe that's it.  I remember they extended it by a month a couple of years ago apparently because there were a lot of wild boar about.  Don't think these guys were poachers.  They're regulars.

Its a chineese cheapo £25, but it's powerfull tested it on tins and it will go clean through metal paint tin so I think it might just go through a wabbit OK
