Telly stuck in standby

Does anyone know a t.v. engineer,or a shop in town that does repairs?
Telly stuck in standby mode and clicking -any ideas or remedies?

If it's clicking then it is most likely the power supply. Do you have mains or inverter and if inverter is it modified sinewave or true (pure) sinewave?  Modified ones blow the capacitors on several types of equipment after a while.

I can probably repair it for you.
