Morning All,
Just looking for some advice re solar panels to be used to charge 2 x 12v batteries used to power lights,tv,bedroom fans and dvd player. We currently use a genny and run this for a couple of hours each day ( we run the washing machine off the genny) which keeps the charge high enough to run the above efficiently. How powerful would a solar panel(s) need to be to give a significant contribution to our daily needs.    Ta Brian.

Solar panels, generators, tools and other machinery, have been stolen.
Also T.V's, D.V.D players etc, cameras, jewellery, even food, wine and clothing, from inside homes have gone missing.

Smidge,
Anything seems fair game to the thieves, we keep nothing of value in the casa - I heard of a wind turbine being cut down from outside a house, fell onto an olive tree and they made off with the valuable bits  !!!

Hi Brian,
You could try contacting Nigel at nigel@prismsolar.co.uk who could probably help you with supply and install.

No Brian.  It's another Nigel (yes I know that it's frightening thought that there's more than one)  Grin
