Hi All,
Can anyone give me an idea as to the cost of a load of gravel suitable for concrete. Also small aggregate for spreading on surfaces around the house. Smiley

hi martin,we got stone and sand mixed, from the builders merchant going into mora just before the bridge, i cant remember the price but the delivery price was 50 euros which did make it expensive you might be better going to the quarry and deal direct with them, ken who has the caravans will do you a 3.5 ton load, we had 7 when we backfilled the patio area i think it worked out a 100 euros delivery for around 25 ton, i wanted a 20 ton drop but nobody was willing to send a wagon up our track,

Hi Smidge,

Last december the price at the Mora quarry was 9,75 euro a ton for 'grave' (mixed stone+sand).

Mark,
Is "grave"the Catalan translation for sand and stone mix,as it appears to translate to grave only ?

Hi All,
Ladis, the Campredo waterman also delivers sand, gravel etc and will deliver up most tracks,(if you saw the track to ours  you'd know what I mean)  you may need to meet him along the way so he can follow you. His numero is 670749551. Smiley

Hi Phil,

Bruixot is right ofcourse its grava (not grave). Don't know the exact ratio but it should be 2 sand on 3 stone volume (on windy days a bit less sand  Grin ). It's the same stuff they sell at the builders-merchants as I often see their trucks at the quarry.

They do two versions, one with small stones (as I use for small projects) and a version with big stones: good if you want to build a bridge or high speed railway on your finca  Wink

So we payd TWICE, so that my jaws didnt breake, becures i would "accidently" walk into a Iron pole.. you are a bit alone with your wife, all the way op next to the monestary, with 5 agressive romanien.
