For crying out loud.  What's the problem?  You've been told (and I quote) "Inspector Agurtzane Jiménez said the spaghetti didn't present a health risk and there was no need to ring the alarm bells."  What more reassurance can you possibly require?  It's not like they were being sold some cheap golf ball detector as a high-tech bomb sniffer.  It's about time Sr. Jiménez was put in charge of an airport somewhere in the Valencia neck of the woods.  Honestly... there's no pleasing some people!
