Just wanted to say that I was enjoying the banter on this now severely moderated thread.

Boo hiss to the moderators for what was only a bit of harmless fun. (I know you have a job to do, keeping us all in line).

I always thought that one purpose of the Forum was to enable socialising and engagement between us members (not between me and Bulldog I hasten to add) and this thread has certainly done that.

Personally I believe that fun makes the world go around. Most of us here have a sense of humour and enjoy a bit of a tease. There are many people here who have a wicked sense of humour and it is great to be involved - even at the receiving end sometimes - in this banter.

It is sad to hear that at least one person does not appreciate the spirit in which most of the responses to the topic were intended. True, some of it got a little personal but only in response to some of the comments made regards whether the Forum should have an open-ended auction, Thanks to Nigel this point has been clarified.

Perhaps we could keep our banter to some innocuous topic area such as General Chat, or how about a new one entitled "Bitch away, folks!".

Thanks,
Biker Swollox

Certainly has been SEVERELY moderated Chris! Your post is now number 1 on the thread. Also could be down to the fact that the Auction may be over?   Undecided

Auction still alive and kicking - http://www.tortosaforum.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1443550145

Looking forward to 22nd, which is the end date (or was)
There is usually a bidding frenzy right at the death...

I just hope whoever bought them knows where to get spares. Motorcycle repair shops won't touch Chinese copies. I speak from experience.
I bought a Chinese Aprilla scooter which has done about 600 miles and will never go again. Aprilla parts DO NOT fit it
Lesson learned!🤓

No idea either as JCSox just put that auction had ended, when I looked at the post on that Sunday evening.
No mention of price, who bought them etc.
I deleted the post on the Monday.
So a guessing game!

JCSOX asked for all comments, regarding the auction, to be removed from his post advertising the wooden flooring!
Maybe you and other members who want answers, such as how the auction ended, price, buyer, it would be best for you to contact him. He has never, given any answers on here.
Personally I have had lot of hassle over this, from day one
and do not want to get involved.

Yes you are correct.
JCsox added comments to his two posts on the Forum, one stating the auction was over, the second asking for comments to be removed from his flooring ad.
These were attended to by me at his request.
