I wondered if co operative in Spain has the same meaning, as some other countries? My understanding of a co operative is you give them the land to manage and in return you get a share of the crop. I wonder if this a system anybody is aware of in Tortosa area?

Or perhaps this type of co operative does not exist in Spain?

Hi - I'm surprised you don't seem to have had any replies to this question. In case you you haven't already solved your own question, this is my life understanding :-
"Co-operative" growing refers to producers getting together to process or market their stuff more effectively as a collective than they could as Individuals.
What you describe sounds like "uso y fructo", a legal concept whereby one person may own property (land, house, or whatever) while someone else has the right to benefit from the use of the property. I suggest you google it for more information.
