Has anyone had a crown fitted at the dentist in Spain? I'm wondering would it be cheaper over there than the uk?

What are the prices like for dental work there? Is it similar to the uk? I'm thinking of getting work done when I'm out there.

Clínica Dental Dra. Márquez  Av. Catalunya 76 baixos, 43500 Tortosa,

I use this dentist which is on the same side as Lidl, on the opposite corner. They have always been very good, limited with English, saying that, the receptionist speaks good English, suggest you call in and ask, they don't bite!! very clean and excellent work, no pain!!!
I had 2 fillings about 6 weeks ago cost 120 euros, they have a
website, hope this is of help to you Wink

I know the last post on this topic was over a mont ago but heres my 10 penny worth.
I had a crown done in England which I managed to break off biting a frozen chocolate bar.
It was replaced by a dentist here in Deltebre ( yes English people do really live out here) and they said they were not sure how long it would last. 6 years on and it´s still there, that´s longer than the original lasted.
Dentistry here is superior to that of the NHS. A report in an online paper NHS Dentistry was classed as third world quality.
The charges are going up every year, last year a check up and a hygenists visit on the NHS almost 50 quid.
