A couple of new shops worth a look.
Esclat in Tortosa.  Bit like a Carrefour but with some interesting products. 1 litre Cider for 2.15 plus some tasty looking oriental style ready meals.
EbrePool in Amposta.  Ferreteria on the site of the old CIFEC shop.  A lot of pool accessories but they're stocking Ironside tools.
