Last Thursday we signed all the documents and paid the balance due to take ownership of the Mill at Barranc de Lloret, so we are now officially Catalan olive farmers.  Cheesy

Many thanks to Nigel & Tracy for letting us use their apartment and we hope you all have a good Christmas lunch.

Bon Nadal.

Hey hello barranc de lloret
We are very close to you and have walked in the barranc and really enjoyed the scenery.
We are the turn to the left when you head for mas de barbarens. Ours is a white and blue house just beyond the evergreen trees.
We will be there in The new year. We are Irish and only get over in school holiday time at the moment. We would love to make contact with english speakers so close by but will respect your privacy and not interfere if you want to be left alone.
We have a white Clio car and we are the first ' lived in' house on the road. Smiley If you see our car please do call. How will we know where you are? Are you close to the entrance or are you far up the valley where the warning for the wild bulls is?
Best wishes anyway. We love the area. mary and Rick Cotter.

We will see you around. The Mill is right by the bridge. We should be out with our first vehicle around the 15-18th January, then after a bit of tooing and froing permanently from February.

Happy New Year to all.

Hi again
We have just returned home having spent new year in our little finca out there. The weather was wonderful- warm and dry. last year we were frozen! now we have a wood-burning stove and the heat from it is amazing. As you don't need to season olive wood you can use what you trim strtaight away.
We drove up to Mont caro which was some drive but well worth it.
Will be back out for two weeks at easter and hope to bump into you.
best of luck the barranc is a fab. place.
happy new year- mary and Rick.
