How te become a Registered Catalan builder?

Hi folks,

A friend of mine has a on-man building company in Holland. He likes to do small projects in Catalunya for a few months a year. As I understand it a builder in Catalunya has to be registered overhere. Does anyone knows how a foreign building company can register itself and what the necessary paperwork is?

Hi

I have just called the Generalitat's 012 helpline (number you call from here), their 'Información empresarial' department should be able to explain the steps your friend will need to take. They assure me they have English-speaking operators.

For those that don't know it, the 012 helpline is an incredibly useful resource.
