Come on boys and girls someone must know were i can fill up some water containers  going camping up at the finca at end of month, so could do with getting some water up there.
oh and also were is the cheapest petrol at the mo in Tortosa ?

Hyper i believe are currently running a "Spend over 50 Euros on shopping & get Diesel for 1 Euro a litre" discount.(You will need to have a recent till receipt of over 50 Euros with you when purchasing fuel)

As a lot of people in the area will allready be aware the public access water tap in Perello was removed last year as part of the welcome for visitors to the area !
Even though you had to pay for the dispensed water,apparantly non locals were buying the water to use on crops etc.and the locals were not happy.
I am sure this action was nothing to do with putting pressure onto residents to force them to pay to have the newly installed mains water supply connected.
Which happened to be installed with the EU grants from the UK etc.
What a friendly area Catolooonya and its people are ?

Perello and l'Ametlla have water dispensers for filling cubos. You get a card from the adjuntament for about €20 and then the water is free. Need to prove you are a resident of the area of course. Don't other towns do the same? The water is designated for agricultural use. There is also a spring in Perello with free water for bottles etc. We put it through a reverse osmosis filter with no problems.
