Red Leicester cheese
For the first time here I saw Red Leicester and Cheddar in blocks. I know you can get Cheddar pre-packed but this was from the cheese counter, cut to size.
Both available in Esclat in Tortosa. Started Apr 14th, 2018 at 1:30pm by Nigel |

Good quality meat
Only recently came across this brand in SPAR (International in Santa Barbara). A little more expensive but excellent quality. Have used the stew pack beef and steak so far.

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to cook the salted cod that is for sale in the shops and markets? Do you have to soak it before you cook it to get the salt out? Started Jul 25th, 2013 at 3:58pm by Hen_Fox (Ex Member) |

chili oil
chop chilies with scissors into a thick bottomed pan with a light flavoured oil, either cheap olive or sunflower. Heat slowly, then let cool and pop in a bottle or jar.
